Undergraduate Colleges

Huree University will provide future leaders of the Mongolian government and contribute to the development of the larger Central Asia region. Students at Huree University learn about overcoming the harsh realities of the Mongolian future, the only university in the region to dedicate itself to these challenges.

We present Mongolian young people with the ability and characteristics to prepare themselves for a new generation and to play their roles with honor. We hope students will have a future vision fully engaged in the five undergraduate colleges and 17 departments at Huree University.

The College of Computer & Information Engineering prepares students for leadership roles in the computer and mobile world through its curriculum of specialized theories and technologies required of IT experts.


The College provides an excellent learning environment for acquiring state-of-the-art knowledge and provides a stepping stone for the dreams of a new generation of students to come true.

The College of Science and Engineering graduates a new-generation of engineers equipped with extensive knowledge and creativity through training in the industrial field.

The Electronic Engineering department professors explore cutting-edge technologies through systematic discussion-based classes and experiments.

The Medical Engineering department provides students with a field-oriented education program of mechanical, electrical and control techniques so that they can develop, design, and control various mechatronic systems, such as medical devices.

The Energy Resource Engineering Department trains students in the development of new and renewable energy, the development of contaminant-reducing technology, and the improvement of the environment in order to cope with pollution caused by industrialization and urbanization.


Up-to-date practical training facilities and field-centered practical teaching methods produce graduates with global engineering talents. The College of Bio-Engineering uses pure science to produce graduates that become leaders in their field with an insatiable appetite for exploration.

The Biotechnology Department is the study that adds engineering principles to the scientific discoveries made through the study of various complex life phenomena in living organisms. It develops a wide range of physiotherapy products and physiogenetic and other chemicals.

The objective of the Food and Nutritional Science department major is to provide basic knowledge and practice to enhance the quality of life though the improvement of human health and nutrition. The aim of the program is focused on cultivating the integrating competencies involved in the basic and applied sciences related to the fields of food and nutrition.

The Food Science and Biotechnology Department is a natural science that utilizes scientific knowledge and engineering techniques in the storage, processing, packaging, distribution and cooking of food. The food handling field trains specialists in processing food, development of processing machines, selection of raw materials, changes in chemical properties during processing, and nutritional or safety issues of processed products.


The College of Architecture and Civil Engineering strengthens practical occupational education, aiming at the cultivation of competent architects who can pursue the harmony of humans, nature and architecture. Creating a new world of design with efficient and environment-friendly architectural arts, Huree’s College of Architecture and Civil Engineering helps you learn everything about architecture, from the basics of construction to extensive humanistic knowledge embracing society, economy, and culture.

The Civil Engineering Department fosters experts in designing and constructing cutting-edge environment-friendly social infrastructure with emphasis on structural engineering, water engineering and geotechnical engineering.

The Architectural Department is an accredited five-year professional degree program, training international architects under the revised Architect Act, by employing state-of-the-art educational media to develop creativity and comprehensive architectural design ability.

The Architectural Engineering Department fosters future-oriented architects equipped with creativity and international competitiveness in the areas of specialized structure, environment and equipment, materials and construction.


We develop global specialists with an international mindset. The College of Liberal Arts is comprised of three major departments: Multimedia, English and Korean. Students are encouraged to grow into global leaders with character and expertise based on the spirit of nurturing talent to lead the world. Based on students’ ability to speak languages, it enables them to acquire an international sense of literature, culture, and expertise.

The Multimedia Department will develop a real-world atmosphere with advanced lab equipmen , and graduates will become leader in producing cultural content. Faculty deliver cooperation-centered design education that produces convergence. Courses focus on graphic design media including posters, advertisements, illustrations, CI and BI.

The English Language Department runs a one-year Intensive English program in which all students can improve their practical command of English under English-speaking professors.

The Korea Language Department develops students’ professional abilities by providing a training program at a sister university in Korea for one or two semesters every year.
